In recent months, the whole of the country is watching the political dramas in its best manifestations and personal greed of the members of the Congress Party that claims to inherit the philosophy of those who sacrificed their every thing to get the country independent from the British.

Natwar indicted in Iraq’s oil-for-food scam was almost adamant and did not resign till he got a hint that Madam Sonia did no more require him. He was removed from the important committees of Congress Party. With all the signals from the party men and the PM, he resisted till he found it impossible to do it any further and then only left.

HN Bharadwaj, the other Gandhi family servant and officially law minister of India took an anti-national step to send asst solicitor-general to UK to get the bank accounts of Italian Q of Bofors fame defreezed. The opposition demanded his resignation. But the master came into action and made CBI take the whole blame or responsibility. How can CBI expect the Indian people to respect it, when it behaves the same way with the people in power whether it is Advani, Laloo, or Mayawati?

And the story of Butta Singh, the Sardar who was sent to Bihar to rule it till Congress becomes a force there, is shocking. The Supreme Court of the country indicted him for taking unconstitutional steps. The PM indicated to him to resign to show respect to the judiciary. But Butta Singh didn’t relent rather he declared that he will take the Republic Day salute as governor in Patna creating embarrassment for all. And only after he did that, he resigned.

And now Dharam Singh Congress CM of Karnataka refuses to resign. Going out of the way, the governor had allowed him to get a vote of confidence moved on the 27 th January. Dharam Singh as well as Congress knows that they have lost majority with the family revolt of Devagowda. The defacto JD (S) is with BJP. But Dharam Singh in collusion with his own party speaker got the assembly adjourned sine die. What sort of examples these Congressmen want to present to the nation and its people. Is it the same party for which so many great men and women gave their blood to build?
