And The Memorial Coming Up

Very recently I wrote about raising a befitting memorial of Dr. Rajendra Prasad in Patna. It’s still on the patnadaily.com too. It’s heartening that Nitish Kumar’s government has responded so fast. As reported, a grand plan on the line of Rajghat in New Delhi has been initiated.
I have only two points to add. Can the people of Bihar take Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Shri Krishna Sinha and Jai Prakash Narayan above and beyond the castes they were born in and make the identifying by caste a sin in the state?
Even a country wide respected Nitish Kumar is blamed time and again for following caste line. He is not only to shun the identity of his caste but also appear to be following the same in words and actions, even if it costs. I can understand it’s difficult to profess in real sense. But it has become a necessity for the image of the state. Bihar must go caste-less.
I will also appeal to Congress Party and the government at the centre to provide the resources to help building and maintaining the memorial under plan as a grand enough landmark showpiece for Patna so that every visitor to the city makes it a point to visit the place.
Help every person visiting the memorial automatically realize that a person from a remote village of Bihar can top the largest school board of the time, can get admitted and excel as the best in the best college of the time, and can become the President of India.
I do also wish if the Bihar government can take up the development of the villages of the great sons of the state with a special fund so that the inhabitants of the villages can respect and appreciate their sons and daughters who served the nation and have gone to get a high enough place in heaven, if there is any.
