Indian Billionaires beat China’s

According to the Forbes’ annual 40 richest Indians list saw the number of billionaires double since last year. There are as many as “27 billionaires, which is more than double (of) last year’s count.” With a cut off net worth of 590 million dollars to feature in the list, as many as seven new Indians made it to the list of the 40 richest.
The collective net worth of the 40 richest Indians outstrips that of Asian rivals China by as much as four times.
The collective net worth of Indian billionaires stood at 106 billion dollars as against just 26 billion dollars of their Chinese counterparts.
When it comes to the minimum net worth of the their wealthiest citizens in the top 40 list, India’s is 590 million dollars, while that of China is worth just 321 million dollars
.
In terms of number of billionaires also, India leads China by a mile with 27 billionaires as compared to just 10 of the latter.
However, the figures give India the “bragging rights” considering the fact that China’s GDP stands at 7.3 trillion dollars with a growth rate of 9.5 per cent as against India’s 3.3 trillion dollars and a growth rate of 7.3 per cent.
Top ten are Lakshmi Mittal (112,000), Azim Premji (94,500), Mukesh Ambani (67,800), Anil Ambani (103,000), Kushal Pal Singh (879), Sunil Mittal (91,800), Kumar Managalam Birla (73), Tulsi Tanti (581), Pallonji Mistry (998), and Anurag Dixit (31,900). I have another way of judging these men. It was by the number of entries on Google search engine that I collected on December 18, 2005. I have given that the number in the bracket following the name. While Lakshmi Mittal maintains his first position, Kumar Mangalam Birla is having the minimum entry against his name. Is it not something very interesting? Simultaneously, the names like Kushal Pal Singh, Tulsi Tanti, and Anurag Dixit in the list surprised me, and must have surprised many in India.
In the top 40 list, Vikrant Bhargava (28,400) was the youngest at 30, and BM Munjal is the oldest at 83. Do you think this rating contains some meaning and we can draw some conclusions?
