According to Business Week, “Two Indian-born technology executives are the leading candidates for the incoming Obama Administration’s newly created position of federal chief technology officer, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation. They are Padmasree Warrior, the chief technology officer of Silicon Valley networking giant Cisco Systems, and Vivek Kundra, who holds the same title in the government of Washington, D.C.”
Anand, who himself works for CISCO, as usual passed on the above news while going to office. He knows I keep on waiting for such news. As such I get really delighted with such news. It gives me a divine joy. Particularly, this news where both the probable are Indians is just fantastic. I get a little sentimental and start looking at the emergence of Indians from almost nowhere and overshadowing the world in the arena of knowledge sector. I start looking back in the Indian heritage history with pride.
Is it this a typical Indian weakness? Even if it is, why should I bother? Let me celebrate it with many more joining me in India.
